Biography
Dr. Khamis is currently an associate professor of Biostatistics and Genetic Epidemiology at Dubai College of Dental Medicine. He is in the academia for over 28 years and has published 83 articles in scientific journals of international repute. He published his first book of Discrete Mathematics (2006). Khamis worked as an associate Professor and senior researcher at the Department of Family and Community medicine at the University of Dammam in KSA 2009-2014. He had served the same position of Biostatistics and Genetic epidemiology at the Department of Community Medicine at University of Khartoum, Sudan (2003-2009). He is a member of the Ethical Research Committee at HBMCDM. As a consultant with WHO, he travels extensively on scientific missions and conducts research projects in the most disturbed regions of Africa and Southeast Asia.
